The Canadian beauty sector requires more than a great product. It demands strict adherence to Health Canada's cosmetic notification and ingredient safety requirements. We prepare and file your Cosmetic Notification Form (CNF), required within 10 days of your first sale in Canada, and keep it revised as your formulas, labels or company details change.
Not every beauty product is a cosmetic. SPF, acne, anti-dandruff, antiperspirant and whitening claims can move your product to the drug or natural health product pathway, which means a DIN or NPN and a very different timeline. We classify your catalogue SKU by SKU before you plan a launch date.
The Bilingual Standard.
Bilingual labelling is governed by the Cosmetic Regulations and the Consumer Packaging and Labelling Act. Product identity, net quantity, directions for use and cautionary statements must appear in both English and French. Ingredient lists use INCI nomenclature and are not translated. We rebuild your artwork to carry all of it without losing the panel.
