About Museo Brands

The Canadian Operation Behind Your Brand

Museo Brands is the importer of record, licence holder, and operator for health, supplement, and beauty brands entering Canada. We hold the site licence, file the regulatory applications, buy the inventory, and run the market at our own cost.

Who We Are

Museo Brands was built to solve one of the biggest challenges for global brands: entering and growing in the Canadian market efficiently and compliantly.

Selling in Canada requires a Canadian entity, a Health Canada site licence, GMP certified facilities, a product licence for each SKU, bilingual packaging, and an importer of record willing to carry liability at the border. We already hold all of it. Brands sell to us at a distribution price and we cover everything downstream at our own expense, from the regulatory filing through to retail distribution.

Mission and Vision

Our Mission & Vision

Our mission is to remove the structural barriers that keep good products out of Canada. That means holding the licences, carrying the inventory risk, and absorbing the cost of compliance so a brand's decision about Canada becomes commercial rather than logistical.

Our vision is to be the operating company global brands run their Canadian business through. Not an advisor producing recommendations, but the entity that files, imports, warehouses, lists, and sells, accountable for the outcome rather than the advice.

Why We Exist

Most Canadian market entry means coordinating a regulatory consultant, a customs broker, a logistics provider, and a distributor, none accountable for the whole. Museo exists to be the single company responsible from filing through to shelf.

A Proven Process for Entering and Growing in Canada

Five stages from first review to steady state. The first costs you nothing and tells you whether the rest is worth doing.

1

Audit

We review your catalogue SKU by SKU. Which regulatory stream each product falls into, whether it is licensable as currently formulated, what needs reformulation or relabelling, and what the landed cost looks like once duty, freight, and taxes load in.

2

Plan

We set the entry sequence: which SKUs go first, which channels they launch in, the price ladder across marketplace, retail, and direct, and a realistic timeline per product. Licensing and artwork run in parallel, which is where time is recovered.

3

Compliance

We prepare and submit the applications and build bilingual artwork against the licence rather than adapting your American label. Our average approval time is two to three months, and we manage requests for information through to approval.

4

Launch

We arrange pickup from your manufacturer, act as importer of record on the customs entry, handle duties and clearance, and receive inventory into Canadian warehousing. Then we build the Amazon.ca listing, set pricing, and open retail accounts.

5

Scale

Entry is a project, staying on shelf is an operation. Replenishment forecasting, stockout prevention, licence amendments when formulas change, advertising, pricing enforcement, unauthorized seller removal, and retail account service.

Local Operations That Power Your Growth

Behind every launch is the infrastructure that makes it legal and repeatable. We run ours in house rather than coordinating vendors, which means the company that files your licence is the company that imports the goods, warehouses them, lists them, and sells them into retail. One point of accountability, no gaps between handoffs.

From inventory handling and marketplace operations to channel coordination and logistics, we ensure your brand runs smoothly and efficiently at every stage of growth.

How We Partner With Brands

We Carry the Risk.

We buy inventory outright and absorb the cost of compliance, packaging, freight, and marketing. If Canada does not work, that is our loss before it is yours.

We Operate, We Do Not Advise.

We do not hand over recommendations to implement. We hold the licence, clear the goods, and run the accounts directly.

We Protect Your Pricing.

Grey market sellers and marketplace undercutting erode brand value faster than slow growth does. As licence holder and importer of record, we have standing to act on infringement rather than only report it.

We Are Direct About the Hard Parts.

If a product cannot be licensed as formulated, if landed cost will not support your target price, or if a claim will not survive review, you hear it early rather than after a container ships.
